Falcon® 5 mL Round Bottom Polystyrene Test Tube, without Cap, Sterile, 125/Pack, 1000/Case

Falcon® 12x75mm, 5 mL polystyrene round bottom test tubes have a 1,400 RCF rating. These sterile tubes are sold 125 per pack and 1,000 per case. RNase/DNase-free.

It has been found that tubes with more consistent inner tolerance, such as the Falcon 5 mL round-bottom tubes, will reduce maintenance and replacement of the Bal Seal O Ring. Falcon 5 mL round-bottom tubes are ideal for flow cytometry analyzers that pressurize the tube by means of a Bal Seal. Falcon 5 mL polystyrene tubes have more consistent inner tube tolerances than other brands since they are designed for optimum performance with instrumentation, which minimizes the need for Bal Seal replacement. This means less down time and costly repairs of valuable instrumentation.
