The use of this medium in place of the product intended for production allows an accurate assessment of sterility throughout the manufacture process. It is a sterile, ready-to-use solution for the imulaiton of aseptic filling of liquids and sterility testing. Due to the rich nutrient base, TSB may be used in the cultivation of fastidious microorganisms. This growth medium complies with current USP requirements and is free of animal-sourced components, making it ideal for testing the sterility of animal-free biopharmaceutical processes.
