Corning® ITS Premix Universal Culture Supplement, 5 mL, contains insulin, human transferrin, and selenous acid, the three most universally essential components of defined culture media. The concentrated supplement stimulates cell proliferation of a variety of cells under serum-reduced conditions. 5 mL (5L equivalent), 1/pack

The ITS Premix (354350 and 354231) contains the following when used at the recommended dilution: Insulin (5ug/ mL), Transferrin (5ug/ mL), and Selenious Acid (5ng/ mL)

Formulation

Corning ITS Premix -Lyophilized from a water solution; reconstitute in 20 mL (cat. no. 354350) or 5 mL (cat. no. 354351) dH2O (stock solution).

Quality

  • Tested for ability to promote proliferation of HeLa cells in serum-free medium
  • Filtered (0.2 µm membrane) and tested and found negative for bacteria, fungi and mycoplasma

Preparation and Storage

Corning ITS Premix: Stable for at least three months at 2° to 8°C (lyophilized) or = three months at -20°C (solubilized). Avoid multiple freeze/thaws.

Corning ITS Premix - Recommended dilution - 1:1000 (dilute stock solution in serum-free medium)
