Single Cassette Housing (SCH)

Corning single-cassette housing is a cost-effective option for storage, protection and termination of optical fiber cables in applications with minimal mounting space. The housing accepts standard LANscape® solution closet connector housing (CCH) cassettes, and offers protection for the fiber cable and connectors for indoor wall-mountable installations.

This compact unit is optimized for use in locations such as Box-in-a-Box applications, building entrances, terminals, wiring closets, open office and other areas where space is a premium. The durable black metal housing can be used with either CCH pigtailed splice cassettes, standard CCH splice cassettes or CCH field termination cassettes with Unicams®, and be utilized for splice management, cross-connector or both for up to 24 single-fiber heat-shrink splices or 2 ribbon heat-shrink splices, if so desired.
