Corning’s FRECAP 2 closure is based on a innovative gel-sealing concept. Our closure makes the installation faster, easier, and more practical than all other existing systems. The FRECAP 2 has eight independent segments of cable entries with gel-sealing material. The independent segments allow for extremely quick, easy, and reliable installation of cables. A wide range of different cable entry segments enable installation of a wide range of different micro ducts and cable diameters as well as cable types. A clear, easy-to-use, and intuitive closing mechanism on each segment eases the removal, addition, or change of cable to support error-free installation of the closure.
