Splitter Minimodule

Corning Optical Communications offers connectorized splitter minimodules, suitable inside all fiber optic hardware where highest density is required. Splitter minimodule 900 micron is based on the PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology, which has a compact size. 1xN and 2xN configurations are available. They combine the small packaging of bare splitters with the advantages of preconnectorization in FTTH networks. All splitter minimodules are delivered with Corning’s low bend loss LBL® optical fiber (compliant with ITU G.657.A2 standard) with a diameter of 900 micron. Qualifications are performed according to IEC-61753-1 specification.
