Special Service Guard for UMOXS™ Connectors

Corning has developed a series of UMOXS™ accessories designed to facilitate installation, wiring, or other customization of any UMOXS cross-connect system component. UMOXS is a family of interfaces for interconnecting feeder and distribution cables in the urban and rural outside plant copper-based network.

The GMOXS23 is a plastic guard designed to snap onto any UMOXS connector. Available in red or yellow, these guards are used to designate special service circuits, and to prevent unauthorized or accidental contact with these circuits.
