Corning® UniCam® connectors offer high optical performance in a fast, easy field-termination solution—ideal for fibre-to-the-workstation setups where time matters. Using precision mechanical splice tech, UniCam enables quick, cost-effective fibre installations. With the High-Performance Tool Kit, LC, SC, or ST® connectors install in just 50 seconds to one minute.

The lightweight tool and precision cleaver reduce human error, ensuring consistent terminations. The cleaver’s dual-clamp design and the tool’s go/no-go feedback confirm proper fibre mating. Installation is simple: strip, clean, cleave, cam, and crimp. Corning guarantees performance—if a connector doesn’t meet specs, it’s replaced.

UniCam connectors suit all field-installable fibre needs, reducing total cost. Each acts like a mini pigtail with a factory-installed fibre stub, aligned via patented splice tech. No epoxy or polishing needed.

For added security, Corning offers keyed LC connectors for up to eight segregated networks. Color-coded keys prevent unauthorized access and simplify ID. Keyed connectors on both patch panel sides ensure matched access rights—features not replicable with standard LC components.
