EDGE™ Housing-XD

EDGE™ Solutions are high-density pre-terminated optical cabling solutions offering industry-leading connector density. The Extreme Density ribbon-pigtailed housings are designed for speed of deployment. The housings feature LC ribbon pigtail assemblies pre-routed to splice trays. These trays hold 24 - 12 fiber ribbons (288 fibers) for a total capacity of 288 fibers within a single tray for the 2U housing and 864 fibers within 3 trays for the 6U housing.

In addition, the housings incorporate ample slack allowing ergonomic splicing on a table or work surface. The V-panel front design delivers ease of connectivity and ample finger access. The jumper management side guides reduce risk of tangling and increase ease of deployment. The housings can be stacked so that a single high-fiber-count cable can be spliced in multiple housings. Additionally, the splice trays are neatly organized and secured in the rear of the housing using a splice tray organizer.
