Plug & Play™ Indoor Ribbon Trunks

Utilisation of high-fibre-count (HFC) preterminated MTP® trunks in a structured cabling design can help to eliminate obstacles to future migration as well as offer key installation cost and time savings.
Available in fibre counts up to 288, indoor HFC ribbon trunks provide the density needed for today’s data centre. The overall diameter of an HFC trunk is smaller than the equivalent number of fibres in multiple lower-fibre-count trunks, reducing the amount of space needed in the pathways and conduit.
Ribbon fibre trunks provide high-performance MTP factory-terminated assemblies, that allow for reduced installation time, especially during fibre preparation and slicing of pigtail trunks, and less conduit space is required. This delivers an overall savings from both reduced material and installation costs.
