Plug & Play™ High-Fiber-Count Indoor/Outdoor Armored Trunks

Utilisation of high-fibre-count (HFC) pre-terminated MTP® trunks in a structured cabling design can help to eliminate obstacles to future migration as well as offer key cost savings in installation and time savings.
Available in counts up to 864 F, indoor/outdoor HFC trunks provide the density needed for today’s data centre. The overall diameter of an HFC trunk is smaller than the equivalent number of fibres in multiple lower-fibre-count trunks, reducing the amount of space needed in the pathways and conduit.
MTP factory-terminated trunks can support not only outdoor (between building) installations, but also below-grade cable
runs, where indoor/outdoor ratings are necessary. Conduit spaces are more common for indoor/outdoor environments,
and the space savings achieved through utilising higher fibre counts reduces the amount of conduit required. This delivers
an overall savings from both reduced material and installation costs.
