OptiSheath® MDU Fiber Distribution Hub Terminal (FDHT)
The OptiSheath Fiber Distribution Hub Terminal (FDHT) is a low-profile, wall-mount, interconnect point between the Central Office feed and indoor/outdoor drop cables for MDU or Business PON applications. This solution can support up to 96 ports with configurations that include splitter and express port options. Express ports bypass the splitter and are typically used to serve businesses or the consumer who wants the highest data rates. These features allow the terminal to be used as an alternative to traditional Indoor or Outdoor FDH Cabinets that require 96 or fewer ports.
All FDHTs ship fully assembled from the factory and are available with the following input options: stubbed with a factory-installed feeder cable, stubbless and provisioned to splice in ribbon or loose tube cables, or stubbless and the splitter is fed via a single SC APC assembly. Multiple terminal configurations are available to meet a wide variety of MDU and Business PON applications.
