Wall-Mountable Splice Center (WSC)
The Corning wall-mountable splice center (WSC) is a cost-effective unit designed for compact, convenient storage and protection of fiber-optic splices. The WSC is engineered for use in locations where space is at a premium such as building entrance terminals, wiring closets and other controlled environments.
The WSC unit is designed for wall-mounting with a low projection from the wall. The unit may also be mounted to a 19- or 23-inch equipment rack using the optional rack-mounting kit. The WSC provides individual splice tray access for ease of use when splicing or re-entering the housing. This compact unit is an integral component of the universal transport system (UTS) and may also be used in many other applications.
