Compact LCP (cLCP) Housings

Corning’s single-panel housing is a cost-effective option for storage, protection, and termination of optical fiber cables in applications with minimal mounting space. The housing accepts standard LANscape® solution CCH panels. The pigtailed SPH-01P is preloaded and prerouted for quick fusion splicing of individual fiber pigtails using the same space-saving platform as the standard SPH-01P.

The prerouted SPH-01P reduces field labor by streamlining the features and components of the SPH-01P to allow for efficiencies in the field. They are prepped with a two-meter pigtail assembly. The pigtailed cassettes have 900 µm at the connector panel for added durability and colored 250 µm for easy splicing. Strain relief can be pre-applied to the assemblies from the manufacturing facility. 

This compact unit is optimized for use in locations such as box-in-a-box applications, building entrances, terminals, wiring closets, offices, and other areas where space is a premium. The SPH-01P housings have a stacking feature to allow up to three independent SPH-01P housings to be stacked and function as one wall-mount unit allowing for capacity expansion without  additional wall space. 

The single-panel housing can be mounted in multiple orientations, including a DIN rail mounting to allow fiber protection and connectivity in electronic and/or control cabinet applications as well as standard wall mounting.
