Fiber Transition Housings, FTH-76P

The Corning Cable Systems Fiber Transition Housing (FTH) provides an optical demarcation and interconnection point for fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) applications. Mounted on the inside or outside of the structure the FTH provides physical protection for the transition between provider and customer and facilitates system testing.

This compact housing provides termination interconnection and slack fiber storage for up to four fibers. The integrated plastic backplate incorporates slack routing splice holder and grounding post a lock may be installed on the integrated locking hasp.

Fiber entering and exiting the housing may be secured using the preformed lances for strain relief. Slack fiber is held neatly and securely by the slack spool and routing guides.

The housing is molded from an engineering-grade thermoplastic selected to withstand harsh outdoor environments. The housing may be installed on a wall or secured to a vertical conduit. Unauthorized access is deterred by the security screw latch. For added security, a lock may be installed on the integrated locking hasp.
