Surface Mount Enclosure

Corning surface mount enclosure is a cost-effective option for storage, protection and termination of optical fiber cables in applications with minimal mounting space. The emclosure comes pre-loaded with adapters and offers protection for the fiber cable and connectors for indoor wall-mount installations. This compact unit is optimized for use in locations such as Box-in-a-Box applications, building entrances, terminals, wiring closets, open office and other areas where space is a premium. In addition to being wall mountable, the enclosure is also DIN rail mountable with an optional DIN rail kit and matches the size of common PLC controllers used in industrial controls. The durable black metal housing can be used with field-installable connectors as well as pigtail termination and has storage for up to 12 single fiber heat-shrink splices.
