UMOXS™ 25-pair Test Connector

Corning has developed a series of UMOXS™ accessories designed to facilitate installation, wiring or other customization of any UMOXS cross-connect system component. UMOXS is a family of interfaces for interconnecting feeder and distribution cables in the urban and rural outside plant copper-based network.

The TMOXS22A is a test adapter made of fire-retardant plastic that allows testing access to all 25 pairs of a UMOXS cross-connect system connector. The test connector is held in place by spring clips that attach to a UMOXS retainer. When the test connector is in place, the top row of contacts (tip) and bottom row (ring) allow direct access to any single pair.
