Evolv® Pushlok®

Corning’s new Single-Fiber Pushlok® Adapter reduces complexity and time to deploy a fiber network by giving operators more flexibility when using single fiber connectorized offerings. Preconnectorized drops can be extended by leveraging Corning’s innovative Pushlok Technology to enable mating between two single-fiber Pushlok connectors. When paired with Single-Fiber FlexNAP™ systems, tethers can be directly connected to a drop cable in rural environments bypassing the need for a traditional terminal approach that may be otherwise inefficient.

Designed for use in nearly every access network environment, this hardened coupler is small enough to be placed in existing handholes or pedestals, on building facades, or in aerial networks (pole- or strand-mount) with mounting features molded into the housing. The Single-Fiber Pushlok Adapter has two keyed ports each with a corresponding release button to disengage the connector. When inserting connectors in the Single-Fiber Pushlok Adapter, the ports provide an audible and physical positive feedback minimizing technician variation and potential damage due to mishandling.
