BPEO Splice Closure
BPEO is a 5 sizes and 14 configurations range of Mechanical Splice/Terminal Enclosures. BPEO can be used below-grade (rated 5 meters/7 days immersion according to IEC 61753 Ed02) and above grade in different types of mount (wall, pole, strand messenger and ADSS).
BPEO are butt enclosure with a flat rectangular design. A large cover gives full access to the fiber manager and is closed by tool-free latches. Cable entries are based on the Corning unique concept of External Cable Assembly Module (ECAM) which is installed on the cable outside of the enclosure. ECAM provides all mechanical and sealing functions without need to work and secure the cable inside the closure. Each ECAM is independent and can be installed or removed at any time. ECAMs are providing unique scalability, maximum safety and speed of installation.
Fiber manager inside BPEO is done with a Single Circuit Management where a wide of splicing / splitters distributed taps trays can be installed with flexible routing of fiber in protection channels.
